Three observations

The broadcast line fell 79% in a year

CSA's broadcast income went from R707m in FY2024/25 to R148m in FY2025/26, a year in which the Proteas Men played three home T20Is. Sponsorship moved the other way, from R140m to R167m. The tour calendar sets broadcast income; the commercial book is the line CSA controls.

Two brands hold both sides of the game

Suzuki is the SA20's Proud Vehicle Partner for 2026 to 2028 and CSA's Official Vehicle and Proteas ODI partner. Jonsson Workwear has been the SA20's workwear partner since Season 3 and became an official Proteas sponsor in August 2026. Betting is split: Betway holds the SA20 title; Dafabet and Hollywoodbets sit with CSA.

The Proteas' own names are squatted

@OfficialCSA on X displays the name 'Proteas Men' with 271 followers and no verification. On TikTok, @proteasmencsa and @proteaswomencsa are unverified with no videos; the second still carries the name 'Momentum Proteas'. CSA's real TikTok is @officialcricketsa at 143,800 followers.
